Study the marking See what earns credit and compare it with a full-mark answer.

Marking points

  1. 1 Draws the normal at the point of incidence.
  2. 2 Draws the reflected ray with angle of reflection equal to angle of incidence.

Why this answer loses marks

Draws a reflected ray by eye but leaves out the normal.

The normal earns a separate mark and provides the reference needed to make the two angles equal.
