Full-mark answer
FSH and LH are given to the woman to mature eggs. Eggs are collected and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory. The fertilised eggs divide by mitosis to form embryos, and one or two embryos are inserted into the uterus, where one may implant and establish pregnancy.
Why this answer loses marks
The sperm fertilises the egg inside the woman and the embryo grows there.
IVF uses collected eggs and laboratory fertilisation, followed by embryo division and transfer to the uterus.
