Study the marking See what earns credit and compare it with a full-mark answer.
Marking points
- 1 For the chosen method, gives one official point about how it works.
- 2 For the same chosen method, gives the matching comparison/check/access point.
Full-mark answer
Authentication takes data specific to the user, such as login credentials, and compares it with stored credentials. Access is allowed only if the credentials are valid.
Why this answer loses marks
It asks the user for a password.
That names a possible credential but does not explain comparison with stored credentials or the access decision.
