Write your answer first. You can study the marking guidance whenever you need it.

Study the marking See what earns credit and compare it with a full-mark answer.

Marking points

  1. 1 Names box X as AND.
  2. 2 Names box Y as XOR.
  3. 3 Names box Z as NOT.

Full-mark answer

X = AND; Y = XOR; Z = NOT.

Why this answer loses marks

I drew logic-gate symbols in the empty boxes.

This response asks for gate names, so correct behaviour shown only as symbols does not satisfy the response instruction.
