Full-mark answer
A micro-hydro scheme in Nepal can make energy supply more sustainable by using flowing water to generate electricity for a village. It is renewable, so it does not rely on imported fossil fuels and produces less air pollution. Because the scheme is small-scale and locally managed, maintenance costs are lower and the community has a reason to keep it working.
Why this answer loses marks
Gives a general solar or large-scale HEP answer.
The response needs a local LIC/NEE renewable scheme and a sustainability link.
