Full-mark answer
Interpretation B is much more positive about Roosevelt than Interpretation A. Interpretation A presents Roosevelt as damaging American economic freedom through his policies, so it sees his effect on America as harmful. By contrast, Interpretation B says that Roosevelt cared about the nation, restored confidence during the Depression, and gave people hope in difficult times.
Why this answer loses marks
Only saying that Reagan liked Roosevelt.
This does not explain how Interpretation B differs from Interpretation A using the content of both interpretations.
